Examination Rules for Students

1 . Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each semester to be eligible to appear in the Semester End Examinations.

2 . Any student having less than 60% attendance in any subject will not be permitted to appear for the Semester End Examinations.

3 . Students must carry their valid Identity Card and Admit Card to the examination hall; entry will not be allowed without these documents.

4 . Students must be dressed in the prescribed uniform to enter the examination room. Those without proper uniform will be denied entry.

5 . Students are not permitted to leave the examination room during the first one hour or during the last thirty minutes of the examination.

6 . If any student brings books, papers, bags, or other belongings, they must be left outside the examination hall.

7 . Only the following items are allowed inside the examination hall: pen, pencils, erasers, Identity Card, Admit Card, and calculator.

8 . Any student found engaging in malpractice or unfair means during the examination will be barred from attending the remaining examinations. The decision of the Controller of Examinations, SCTE, in such matters shall be final.

9 . Mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, or any device capable of internet connectivity or communication are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

10 . Students must not communicate or attempt to communicate with each other during the examination. Any such act will be treated as cheating, and all parties involved will be expelled from the examination hall.
